Wolle
Es waren einige Wolle-Aussteller da, allerdings überwiegend von in Deutschland wenig angebotenen Marken, die auf dem internationalen Markt mehr vertreten sind. Eine interessante Entdeckung habe ich dort allerdings gemacht, ich weiß jetzt nämlich von welcher Firma die Sockenwolle ist, die dieses Jahr bei Aldi Süd angeboten wurde.
Auf dem Bild mit der Aldi-Sockenwolle seht ihr unten rechts bereits einen farblich vielversprechenden Karton, auf den ich eure Aufmerksamkeit lenken möchte:
Ein komplettes Starterkit, um sich dem Hobby „Wolle färben“ anzunähern. Welch tolle Idee! Die Färbekurse, die ich gegeben habe, sind leider schon lange her, einerseits hatte ich die räumlichken Möglichkeiten nicht mehr und andererseits ging wegen Corona nichts mehr. Aber da ich jetzt wieder den Platz dafür hätte, werde ich bald auch wieder Färbekurse anbieten können.
Apropos Färben: Verglichen an Gesamtangebot hatte ich den Eindruck, dass Färbewolle überproportional vertreten war.
Auch bei Pascuali kann man übrigens alle Qualitäten als Färbegarne bestellen – für geringe Mengen und Privatkäufer sogar direkt auf der Homepage.
Sehr spannend sind die Qualitäten Manada, Merino Baby und Maximo, denn die sind in den gleichen Farben erhältlich, so dass sich wunderbare Kombinationen anbieten.
Das Färbefieber hat mich auch wieder gepackt, ich werde also nicht nur, wie schon oben geschrieben, Färbekurse anbieten sondern auch selber wieder handfärben.
Die Bestellung hierzu ist schon plaziert.
Als interessanten Stand mit handegefärbten Garnen ist mir die Firma Urthyarns aufgefallen. Sie haben auch industriell gefärbte Garne, z. B. diese Sockenwolle, die ich gleich vor Ort gekauft habe. Ich werde euch das Ergebnis selbstverständlich dann hier zeigen.
Häkeln, insbesondere Grannys Häkeln scheint auch derzeit groß in Mode zu sein, sogar Kleidung kann man daraus machen:
Stoffe
Stellt euch nur mal die rechte Jacke zu etwas aus diesen Stoffen der Firma Swafing genähtem vor.
Besonders beeindruckend finde ich ja die Stoffe mit Bildmotiven.
Und es gab einen eigenen Stand mit Stoffen für Faschingskostüme, der ist mir bisher noch nie aufgefallen.
Interessant finde ich auch solche bedruckten Stoffpanels, bei denen man sich die Markierung der Schnittlinien spart. Auch das wäre eine Idee für Kurse, hier das Beispiel von Alb-Stoffe.
Zubehör
Daneben war die Firma muud vertreten, deren Werbung mir schon öfter auf Instagram angezeigt wurde und so konnte ich die Produktpallette mal im Original in Augenschein nehmen.
Es sind gut durchdachte Taschen und Mäppchen (die Rollen auf dem Bild unten links sind eigentlich für Wollknäuel gedacht, aber da könnte man auch Handspindeln gut aufbewahren). Das Material ist nicht, wie ich aufgrund der Werbefotos bisher annahm, aus dickem Leder, sondern es ist dünnes, weiches Leder. Muud hat auch spezielle Taschen für Stickereien, Nähutensilien, Häkelarbeiten uvm.
Apropos Nähen, ich war natürlich auch am Stand der Firma Schmetz, die die besten Nähmaschinennadeln aller Zeiten herstellen. Darüber berichte ich aber in einem gesonderten Blogbeitrag:

But now that I would have the space for it again, I will soon be able to offer dyeing courses again.
Speaking of dyeing: Compared to the total offer, I had the impression that dyeing wool was disproportionately represented.

Fabrics
StJust imagine the right jacket to something sewn from these fabrics from the company Swafing.
I find the fabrics with picture motifs particularly impressive.
And there was a separate booth with fabrics for carnival costumes, I never noticed it before.
I also find such printed fabric panels interesting, where you save the marking of the cutting lines. This would also be an idea for courses, here the example of Alb-Stoffe.
Accessories
In addition, the company muud was represented, whose advertising was already shown to me often on Instagram and so I could take a look at the product range times in the original.
They are well-designed bags and pencil cases (the rolls in the picture below left are actually for balls of wool, but there you could also store hand spindles well). The material is not thick leather, as I previously assumed from the promotional photos, but it is thin, soft leather. Muud also has special pockets for embroidery, sewing supplies, crochet and more.
Speaking of sewing, I was of course also at the booth of the Schmetz company, who make the best sewing machine needles ever. But I’ll report on that in a separate blog post:
