Diesen Beitrag muss ich mit WERBUNG kennzeichnen, weil ich die Anleitung als Teststrickerin kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen habe.

Das Label Ideenhexen besteht aus zwei Frauen, von denen ich eine persönlich über die Oberpfälzer Stricklieseln kenne. Die andere kommt mir figürlich näher. Das ist das wirklich spannende an diesen Anleitungen, sie passen allen, egal ob dick, dünn oder etwas dazwischen.

Nun ging es also darum, einen Pullover zu stricken. Als Material habe ich mir einen gut abgelagerten Strang Wollmeise Lace in einer NiP-Farbe ähnlich Hortensie, gekauft am 23. Juli 2012 (Ravelry Dank kann man so etwas nachschauen), ausgesucht. Das schönste Maschenbild habe ich mit Nadeln der Stärke 2,75 mm erreicht und da bei diesem Modell zwar die Maschenprobe nicht egal ist, aber variieren darf, war ich da auch völlig ungebunden. Meine Maschenprobe hat 30 Maschen auf 10 cm ergeben.

Irgendwo in der Testanleitung stand, man soll, bevor man ribbelt, unbedingt Kontakt mit den Designerinnen aufnehmen. Der Satz war wichtig, denn der Ausschnitt war in meinen Augen höchst merkwürdig, viel zu groß und konnte niemals passen. Überhaupt – die Passform – das konnte so nichts werden, dachte ich.

Das was auf dem Foto oben liegt, ist der vordere Ausschnitt. Schaut schrecklich aus, oder? Aber ich bin kein Mensch, der aufgibt, ich ziehe das Ding durch bis zum bitteren Ende. Und eine der Desginerinnen fand die Form auch durchaus normal, ich solle mir keine Sorgen machen.

Übrigens ist mir bei diesem Teststrick erstmalig aufgefallen, wie ungleichmäßig ich stricke, obwohl ich immer ein recht regelmäßiges Maschenbild produziere. Seht euch mal an, wie das aussieht, wenn ich noch nicht in Runden stricken kann, sondern in Reihen glatt rechts stricke und wie gleichmäßiger es wird, wenn ich dann in Runden glatt rechts stricken kann. Selbst im gewaschenen Zustand sieht man es noch (rechtes Bild).

So wuchs also dieses Pulloverteil, von dessen Tragefähigkeit ich nach wie vor nicht überzeugt war. Bei der Frage nach der A-Linie habe ich mich für die Zunahmen alle 10 Reihen entschieden.

Die Bündchen klappten auch hoch – alles sehr unbefriedigend.

Aber dann – nach dem Waschen – entwickelte sich das hässliche Entlein zu einem wundervollen Schwan. Die Passform ist hervorragend, die Bündchen lassen sich wunderbar zurrechtzupfen und bleiben dann da, wo sie sein sollen. Es ist ein neues Lieblingsteil entstanden, das mich im Herbst begleiten wird.

Übrigens habe ich bei jedem der Bündchen unterschiedliche Abschlüsse nach der „Wellenreihe“ gemacht. Am Halsausschnitt eins rechts, eins links, am Ärmel kraus rechts und am unteren Bund Perlmuster (v. l. n. r.). Optisch macht das aber nur wenig Unterschied.

The label Ideenhexen consists of two women, one of whom I know personally through the Oberpfälzer Stricklieseln. The other is closer to me figuratively. That’s the really exciting thing about these instructions, they fit everyone, whether thick, thin or something in between.

So now it was time to knit a sweater. As material I chose a well-seasoned skein Wollmeise Lace in a NiP color similar to Hydrangea, bought on July 23, 2012 (Ravelry thanks you can look up something like this). The most beautiful stitch pattern I have achieved with needles of strength 2.75 mm and since in this model, although the stitch sample is not indifferent, but may vary, I was there also completely unbound. My stitch test has resulted in 30 stitches on 10 cm.

Somewhere in the test instructions it said that before ribbing, you should definitely contact the designers. The sentence was important, because the neckline was in my eyes most strange, much too large and could never fit. In general – the fit – that could be nothing in that way, I thought.

What’s at the top of the photo is the front cutout. Looks terrible, doesn’t it? But I’m not a person who gives up, I pull the thing through to the bitter end. And one of the designers also found the shape quite normal, I should not worry.

By the way, I noticed for the first time with this test knit how unevenly I knit, although I always produce a fairly regular stitch pattern. Take a look at what it looks like when I can’t knit in rounds yet, but knit in plain right rows, and how even it gets when I can then knit in plain right rounds. Even when washed, you can still see it (right picture).

So this sweater part grew, and I was still not convinced of its wearability. When asked about the A-line, I opted for increases every 10 rows.

The cuffs also folded up – all very unsatisfactory.

But then – after washing – the ugly duckling developed into a wonderful swan. The fit is excellent, the cuffs can be wonderfully tucked and then remain where they should be. It is a new favorite part emerged, which will accompany me in the fall.

By the way, I made different finishes for each of the cuffs using the „wave row“. At the neckline one right, one left, at the sleeve curly right and at the lower waistband pearl pattern (from left to right). Visually, however, this only makes little difference.
