Cozygan

Ich durf­te wie­der bei einem Test­strick von Ideen­he­xen mit­ma­chen und den Cozy­gan vor Ver­öf­fent­li­chung stricken.

I was again allo­wed to par­ti­ci­pa­te in a test knit of Ideen­he­xen and knit the Cozy­gan befo­re publi­ca­ti­on.

Es ist eine Rund­pas­sen­jacke mit ori­gi­nel­ler Gestal­tung der Rund­pas­se. Die Anlei­tung ist gut ver­ständ­lich und es war eine Freu­de, nach ihr zu arbei­ten.

It is a round yoke jacket with ori­gi­nal design of the round yoke. The ins­truc­tions are easy to under­stand and it was a plea­su­re to work from them.

Gewählt habe ich fol­gen­de Wol­len:

I have cho­sen the fol­lo­wing yarns:

• Debie Bliss: Pri­ma
• Rowan: pureli­fe
• Katia: Basic Meri­no

Was die Strick­freu­de defi­ni­tiv getrübt hat, war die pureli­fe von Rowan (die auch aus dem Sor­ti­ment genom­men wur­de), denn sie hat ganz fürch­ter­lich auf die Hän­de abge­färbt.

What defi­ni­te­ly dam­pened the joy of knit­ting was Rowan’s pureli­fe (which has also been taken out of the ran­ge), becau­se it colo­red quite ter­ri­bly on the hands.

Um so erstaun­li­cher ist die Tat­sa­che, dass die Wol­le beim Waschen in der Wasch­ma­schi­ne im Woll­pro­gramm gar nicht gefärbt hat — das Farb­fang­tuch war weiß!

All the more ama­zing is the fact that when the wool was washed in the washing machi­ne on the wool pro­gram, it did not dye at all — the dye trap cloth was white!

Aber durch das Waschen ist die Jacke sehr groß und weit gewor­den (ein übli­ches Pro­blem bei Meri­no­wol­le), so dass ich sie wohl her­schen­ken wer­de.

But washing has made the jacket very lar­ge and wide (a com­mon pro­blem with meri­no wool), so I’ll pro­ba­b­ly give it away.
